I won the Cup ... I got fired

OK. So my problem is ... I played Manager Mode and I was just ending the ninth season. I played the first season for Real Madrid and remained just six league matches. I was on the top spot with four-point lead over Barcelona. Next match was the Spanish Cup-final. I won. And what was waiting for me then? ... I got fired. I know I can play again, but ... I was already so far
Sorry for my English, if I made any grammatical mistake. It is not my native language|||

your English is way better than people born to speak and write it. Where i work, i know few people that don't even know how to write in English and they were born in Canada, how stupid!!|||

In some parts of Canada, they speak French.
@OP:
Weird. Don't have other words then that.|||I had something similar happen to me as well. I wasn’t fired, but when I won the cup (I think it was the English cup) my board approval rating dropped significantly and my manager rating dropped too.
I’ve also lost a game and had my board approval rating increase slightly.
:)|||

In the future, when the board is reviewing your job as a manager, make another save file immediately in case you get fired.|||

Prefer to insure the future and make the way you advised. I play FIFA since 2006 and I have never had patience. I've always retiring up to three or four seasons. Therefore, I am a bit taken aback|||

You know, winning leagues and matches is only one part of your duty as a manager. You have to keep an eye on your objectives, and see what the boards wants you to do that season. Sometimes they want you to extend a players contract, sign a new player with certain abilities, upgrade stadium or coaching staff, or have more than a certain amount of balance on your account. I'm sure they didn't fire you for winning the cup, but perhaps because you hadn't kept up with other objections. It definitely sucks you've been fired after 9 seasons for negligence - correct me if I'm wrong.
I would certainly do what others suggested, constantly keep an additional manager file saved - just in case.|||

My rating as a manager was 5 Stars. The bar that reflects the reputation of the manager I was filled with approximately 90%. The bank account I had just over € 80 million. This reflects the reality, that I perform jobs that belonged to me.|||

I was only speculating. I couldn't guess exactly why you got fired, it's like shooting at the dark but there must be a reason. I've never played the Manager Mode for 9 seasons, I couldn't possibly know what they expected of you. It does seem to me though that after 9 seasons, you should've had a lot more than 80 m. You are expected to earn money, season after season - not to stay on a 'realistic measure'. This is a game, not real life.|||

You totally misunderstood about it (I think the last sentence in my post).
I quote part of its contribution "This Reflects the reality, that I perform jobs that belonged to me." this means that all tasks in the game that it was for me, I perform almost perfectly
Next:
For the aforementioned club I joined in my first season as manager. Therefore, I had "only" 80 million. Those first eight seasons, I've changed a few clubs
Please do not take this post as a quarrel. Just trying to explain it to you.|||Hi there.
Since it was your first season with Real Madrid, no doubt as a 5-star manager, mind sharing with us the three objectives the Board set out for you?
I'm sure there's one that concerns the Champions League and another for La Liga.
Winning the Copa del Rey may not even be an objective set out for you, correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, I'm guessing you already failed at one objective by this stage of the season, and a 5-star manager may not receive much leniency from your Board.
Have to add that I haven't reached that many seasons in my MM.
Just about halfway through my 5th season with the same team all the way, and this is the first season that my Board expectations got harder after having the same objectives from season 2 to 4 (Season 1 didn't have European Competition targets, but same League and Cup expectations as Seasons 2, 3 and 4).
Now instead of just finishing in the top half of my League, they expect me to qualify for Champions League (..well.. I AM the reigning Euro Champ...ahem..). And they want me to reach the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup instead of the usual Quarters. In none of the seasons were there any targets for the League Cup for my team.

Maybe some truth to what you wrote. I remember that I won the Champions League. Also I was on track to win La Liga. If I remember correctly, objectives were set as follows: Won mentioned La Liga and Champions League and Spanish Cup(I also won, as discussed above).
I believe it was a mistake of the game itself. And apparently without cause
