There's the mouse for the menus. Or don't you want to use one of those either? Seriously, don't you guys understand how much of a better gaming experience you will have if you learn to use a gamepad for games like this? Mouse/Keyboard is good for some things - such as RTS games and FPS games, but they are useless for sports games!

+1|||i want to play it in keyboard too, always have and for me its easier that way i mean its FOR PC! so the least i expect is that you can play the game well with the keyboard or a lot of keyboard fans will be dissapointed|||i want play with keyboards

S - Pass. Standing Tackle
D - Shot
W - Change player
E - Sprint
X - Thrue ball
C - Stop the ball
Anything else?
P.S. You can configure like this: In Start menu --> Games --> then click on Fifa 11, then Game Settings, and then In-Game Keyboard!

I would call that confusing(Not your instructions, they are fine). You have to know what the A, X, Y button does or what button is the sprint button and so on BEFORE you start configuring.
Yes, once you have set the configuration, and learn to ignore the confusing xbox interface, it is an enjoyable game.
What I can't understand is that the menu interface and controller customability was just fine in FIFA 10 PC why not use that in FIFA 11?
FIFA 11 game engine + FIFA 10 menu's who is against that?|||the same but with y=w for throw
LB=Q for changing player,running the receiver and Q+W long throw
this is the same configuration i used for fifa 09 pc and fifa 10 pc even pes i use the same configuration
there is no confusion once you know each button although it is difficult first|||

den wht is for standing tackle? n sliding tackle? poace control? n most important for skills|||I prefer keyboard as well.
Maybe the game is better and easier to play with a gamepad, but I am a PC person through and through and simply do not fancy other controls in my games than keyboard and mouse.
The previous FIFA I have is the 09 and I think it worked very well with keyboard controls.
And you could be competitive with keyboard in online games, too (my rank in that one is something like within top 200).
With this FIFA 11 it seems that the focus has shifted quite heavily towards gamepad use, although it's too early to judge, I've only played 2 demo games so far.
But I truly hope that keyboard controls will be at least as good as in the 09 version, otherwise this is not the game for me.
